At the Amerigo National Literary Prize ceremony, organized by Amerigo and the Association of Regional Councilors of Lombardy and held at Palazzo Pirelli in Milan, Anita Likmeta’s novel The Fairy Tales of Communism (Marsilio) received the award in the category “Freedom from Want.” The prize recognizes both the literary and civic significance of the work.
